INGROUND SWIMMING POOLS
The traditional, idealised image of a swimming pool. The inground swimming pool is the most standard pool format ideal for relatively unchallenging terrain. It can be configured in numerous different ways and requires significant work on the pool surrounds (decisions are required over whether or not to add borders; whether to build an ipe or Scots pine deck or lay turf; what type of lighting should be provided for long summer evenings, etc.). It's also the swimming pool type with the largest number of options in terms of shape (square pool, rectangular pool, kidney-shaped or oval pool, lap pool, etc.).
